Expression of Interest for Rural Business Builder Capital Grant funding

Introduction

Thank you for taking an interest in the Rural Business Builder Capital Grant funding element of our business support offer.

The purpose of this webform is to enable you to register your interest in this scheme and provide us with the information we need to verify your eligibility for this potential support. It enables you to set out the capital expenditure programme you would like to undertake with some funding support. It gives us some basic information to enable one of our case officers to then meet with you and discuss your intended project in more detail and work with you to further build the case for support.

To start your application please provide your confirmation to the statements below:

I can confirm that I have read and do meet the eligibility criteria for the Rural Business Builder Capital Grant on the Council website and that I would like to submit an expression of interest in this funding programme

I can confirm that my business operates principally from a business address or home address in the Broadland District Council area

I can confirm that my business has not already received a Rural Business Builder Capital Grant at any point since this grant scheme was launched in July 2023

I would like to submit this expression of interest on the basis that if successful the capital funding will:

Deliver additionality in productivity in the business or in the efficient use of resources (by productivity we mean the rate of productivity in your business operations, not just achieving greater levels of production capacity)

Deliver additionality in the carbon reduction of the business, or other positive environmental impacts

Deliver additionality in diversifying into new income streams

We would generally expect that only one box will be selected, but occasionally more than one of the above would be applicable for a project. At least one box must be ticked to be considered for funding. By additionality we mean what the funding investment would enable the delivery of within your business that would not be possible without the funding support.
